Position Overview
Stevens Trucking is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Asset Management Coordinator to support our asset-based operation. This role is critical to monitoring and optimizing the status, utilization, and positioning of approximately 1,800 trailers across our network to ensure strong operational execution and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor real-time trailer status, location, and utilization across the Stevens network.
- Strategically position trailers to support load demand and maximize operational efficiency.
- Identify idle or underutilized equipment and take proactive action.
- Collaborate with Operations, Planning, and Yard teams to improve asset flow.
- Analyze trailer trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on asset productivity and cost control.
Qualifications
- Experience in trucking, logistics, fleet management, or asset-based operations preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and transportation management systems.
- Clear communication skills and strong sense of urgency.
