Located in the Historic District of Swansea, Massachusetts for 80 years, Stevens Treatment Programs provides comprehensive services to adolescents who require the safety and consistency of our residential treatment program. Stevens empowers youth to lead successful lives through high quality treatment and education in a safe and nurturing environment. We support youth to successfully and safely reintegrate into home and community.
Residential counselors are responsible for the day-to-day implementation of the program’s treatment model. Residential counselors work to nurture and mentor the trauma-impacted youth in Stevens’ care while ensuring a safe and structured therapeutic environment. Residential counselors work to collaboratively implement a youth’s treatment plan to prepare them to return to their communities with the personal coping skills and resiliency needed to thrive.

We are currently seeking out Residential Counselors to fill the following:
Full-time, Part-time, Weekends
Shifts: 2nd shift (Monday-Friday), Awake Overnight (days vary), and weekends all shifts
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Current Valid Driver’s License for at least 3 years and acceptable Driving Record to Stevens’ insurer
• Acceptable EEC Background Record check
• A strong desire to help trauma-impacted youth to develop the skills and resiliency integral to leading positive, healthy lives after leaving the program.
• Experience working with adolescents in a residential setting or special needs children a plus!
