Reefer Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and trailers to deliver freight efficiently and on schedule. This role requires a professional with a strong driving record, familiarity with different vehicle types, and the ability to handle load & unload operations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards across all routes.

Duties

• Operate trucks with manual or automatic transmission, including refrigerated trailers.
• Safely drive route-specific deliveries, ensuring timely arrival at designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies during route driving.
• Assist with securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any vehicle issues promptly.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving, including delivery driver experience with various truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or dump trucks.
• Familiarity with freight handling, route planning, and load securement techniques.
• Experience operating forklifts or other loading equipment is a plus.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking and freight transport.
• Prior experience with tractor-trailer operations or tanker driving is preferred. This position offers an opportunity for skilled drivers to utilize their expertise in a dynamic environment while ensuring safe and efficient freight delivery across routes.

Pay: $0.42 - $0.62 per mile
