Job Summary:
Stevens Realty is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Make-Ready Technician to prepare vacant rental properties for new tenants. This role is essential in ensuring homes are clean, safe, and move-in ready within required timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Perform make-ready work on vacant units between tenants
- Basic repairs including drywall patching, touch-up painting, caulking, and minor carpentry
- Replace light bulbs, air filters, outlet covers, door hardware, and smoke detector batteries
- Inspect units for maintenance issues and report needed repairs
- Ensure properties meet Stevens Realty’s move-in standards
- Coordinate with property management staff on deadlines and priorities
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
- Previous make-ready, maintenance, or handyman experience preferred
- Ability to complete tasks independently and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of tools and minor home repairs
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel between properties
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with rental or property management companies
- Painting and drywall experience
- HVAC or plumbing knowledge (a plus, not required)
