Stevens Realty LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable Independent Contractor Plumber to support our growing team in Lawton, OK. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with extensive knowledge of residential plumbing, septic tank systems, and sewer line projects. You will work independently on assigned work orders, using your own tools and equipment, and play a key role in maintaining the safety and functionality of our rental properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties
- Inspect, service, and repair septic tanks and sewer systems
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures with proper tools and techniques
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layouts and requirements
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Collaborate with construction professionals on remodeling or renovation projects
- Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, building regulations, and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of residential plumbing experience (commercial a plus)
- Strong knowledge of septic tank and sewer systems
- Must have own tools, equipment, and reliable transportation
- Proficient with plumbing hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints and construction documents
- Knowledge of job site safety protocols
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license (ability to operate commercial vehicles a plus)
