The Opportunity

We’re seeking a Business Development Executive to lead new client growth and strengthen referral relationships across the Twin Cities region. This position combines strategic outreach, relationship management, and marketing collaboration to help expand Stevens Foster’s reach among high-net-worth families and corporate executives.


You’ll focus exclusively on business development—not ongoing client management—partnering with our financial advisors and planners to ensure a seamless handoff and exceptional client experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development plan targeting executives, business owners, and high-net-worth families.
  • Build and maintain referral partnerships with attorneys, accountants, and other centers of influence.
  • Collaborate with marketing to design and implement outreach campaigns and client events.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage new prospective clients through networking and relationship-based strategies.
  • Partner with Client Account Managers and advisors to transition new clients into long-term relationships.
  • Track outreach and conversion metrics in CRM and report activity to firm leadership.
  • Represent Stevens Foster at professional, community, and philanthropic events.


Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in business development, marketing, or relationship management within wealth management, private banking, or another high-trust professional services environment.
  • Proven track record of generating new business and developing referral networks.
  • Deep understanding of financial services and the needs of executive or high-net-worth clients.
  • Established professional presence and network in the Twin Cities area preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently.
