Stevens Foster Financial Advisors is seeking an experienced Business Development Executive to lead new client acquisition and represent the firm in the Twin Cities market. This role focuses on building relationships with executives, high-net-worth families, and professional referral partners while introducing them to our integrated planning, tax, and investment model.
This is a strategic, relationship-centered role—not high-volume sales. You’ll cultivate meaningful connections, identify qualified prospects, and guide them into a smooth transition with our advisory team.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute a strategic growth plan focused on executives and HNW families
- Source and acquire new clients through networking, referrals, targeted outreach, and community engagement
- Build strong relationships with attorneys, CPAs, and centers of influence
- Educate prospects on the firm’s comprehensive wealth-management approach
- Qualify leads and coordinate seamless hand-offs to Client Account Managers
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and community functions
- Oversee marketing initiatives, sponsorships, and campaigns in partnership with internal staff
- Maintain an accurate prospect pipeline in CRM (Redtail) and report progress to leadership
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, finance, marketing, or related field
- 7–10 years in business development, relationship management, or marketing
- Experience within wealth management, financial services, or professional services required
- Proven success attracting and retaining HNW or executive clients
- Strong Twin Cities referral network preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and consultative relationship skills
- Highly self-driven with strong follow-through and professional judgment
Compensation & Schedule
Salary: $90,000–$100,000 based on experience
Bonus: Sales-based incentive structure
Schedule: Monday–Friday; occasional events or networking beyond standard hours
Hybrid: Available under firm policy
