Position Overview:
Stevens Center is seeking a seasoned Program Manager with a proven track record of leadership in IDD programs. This role is for an experienced manager who can independently lead a team, drive census growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and solve complex operational challenges. Clinical knowledge is important, but supervisory expertise, team development, operational leadership, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends are the top priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise program staff, setting clear expectations and fostering high performance.
- Oversee all program operations, including enrollment, scheduling, and service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
- Develop strategies to grow and maintain program census.
- Identify operational challenges and implement solutions independently.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive strategic initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting per regulatory standards.
- Provide oversight and support during evenings and weekends as program needs require.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or related field required (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in IDD or behavioral health programs.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of direct supervisory experience leading a successful team, with demonstrated ability to develop staff and drive operational outcomes.
- Proven success in program growth, operational improvement, and independent decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of IDD regulations, compliance, and best practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Flexible availability for evenings and weekends to support program operations.
- Clinical experience in IDD services preferred but not sufficient without strong leadership experience.
