Senior Accountant

StevenDouglas is working with a Dallas based client looking for interim support for their Audit at the beginning of the year, and it's expected to last for about 2-3 months.

Responsibilities

• Support with accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Prepare audit support schedules and requested documentation
• Assist with monthly close activities
• Validate financial data and ensure accuracy in the system
• Support external auditors
• Resolve issues related to account reconciliations and reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting
• 5-10 years of experience in an accounting role, and have gone through yearly audits (internally or externally)
• Experience with Viewpoint software is a nice to have
