What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at StevenDouglas?
StevenDouglas is working with a Dallas based client looking for interim support for their Audit at the beginning of the year, and it's expected to last for about 2-3 months.
Responsibilities
- Support with accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Prepare audit support schedules and requested documentation
- Assist with monthly close activities
- Validate financial data and ensure accuracy in the system
- Support external auditors
- Resolve issues related to account reconciliations and reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 5-10 years of experience in an accounting role, and have gone through yearly audits (internally or externally)
- Experience with Viewpoint software is a nice to have
