Security Project Manager

Junior to Mid level Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate security-related IT projects from initiation through completion
• Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and IT operations teams to define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and timelines
• Support the rollout and adoption of security tools and technologies
• Maintain project documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders
• Track budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure action items are followed through
• Identify potential roadblocks and escalate issues proactively
• Ensure projects comply with security and regulatory standards

Required Experience & Skills

• 2–5 years of experience in Project Management, IT project delivery, or Project Coordination
• Experience supporting security initiatives, such as:
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Endpoint or network security
• Incident response processes
• Security tool implementations
• Risk, compliance, or governance activities
• Strong organizational skills and deadline-driven mindset
• Comfortable working with technical teams and translating requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as PMP, Security , or related credentials
• Experience working on cloud, network, or infrastructure security projects
• Exposure to SOC, GRC, IAM, or general security operations
• Technical familiarity with tools like VMware, firewalls, Duo/MFA, O365 security, etc.
