Network Engineer (Cisco | Infrastructure & Security)
We’re working with a growing organization looking to add a Network Engineer to their team. This role will focus on supporting and securing both enterprise and plant network environments, with a strong emphasis on Cisco technologies and network security.
This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, improving network reliability, and working in environments where uptime is critical. The role also partners closely with engineering and operations teams to support industrial/OT systems.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deploying and supporting network infrastructure across multiple sites, including switching, routing, and firewall technologies
- Managing and monitoring Cisco environments using tools like Catalyst Center and other network management platforms
- Implementing and maintaining network security solutions such as ISE, Firepower, and Zero Trust access controls
- Supporting segmentation, identity-based access, and least-privilege initiatives
- Monitoring network performance and assisting with incident response and remediation
- Partnering with plant and automation teams to support connectivity for industrial systems (SCADA, PLCs, HMIs)
- Maintaining documentation, network diagrams, and helping standardize infrastructure across locations
What They’re Looking For:
- ~5 years of experience supporting network infrastructure in multi-site environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking (switching, routing, and enterprise infrastructure)
- Background in network security (firewalls, NAC, endpoint or DNS security)
- Solid understanding of VLANs, VPNs, routing, ACLs, and segmentation
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, production-critical environments
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Cisco ISE, Firepower, Catalyst Center, or similar tools
- Exposure to OT/industrial environments (SCADA or similar)
- Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks and modern security approaches
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CyberOps, etc.)
