Description of the role:
Are you passionate about making vehicles look their absolute best? Do you have an eye for detail and take pride in transforming a car from good to gleaming? Steven Kia is looking for a skilled and energetic Automotive Detailer to be the final touch in our customer's experience. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for meticulously cleaning, polishing, and protecting our vehicles, ensuring they meet our high standards for presentation and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Interior Detailing:
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets, upholstery, and floor mats.
- Clean and condition leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces.
- Clean interior glass, mirrors, and displays to a streak-free finish.
- Clean and shine interior trim, vents, and dashboards.
- Remove trash and personal belongings (following established procedures)
- Other responsibilities as directed by the manager
Meticulous Exterior Detailing:
- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and dry vehicle exteriors, including door jambs, wheels, and wheel wells.
- Apply wax, sealants, or polish to exterior paint surfaces to restore and protect shine.
- Clean and dress tires and exterior trim.
- Remove minor imperfections like tar, bugs, and other contaminants.
- Clean exterior glass, mirrors, and lights.
- Vehicle Preparation:
- Prepare new vehicles for customer delivery, ensuring they are spotless and ready for pick-up.
- Detail pre-owned vehicles to enhance their appearance for the showroom or lot.
Clean customer vehicles after service appointments
Qualifications:Requirements/ Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Be able to work with different teams
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work under business pressure
- Be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Ability to work independently
