Overview
Steve’s Plumbing and Excavating, LLC is seeking a reliable and organized Customer Service Dispatcher to serve as the first point of contact for our customers. This role is responsible for managing incoming calls, scheduling service appointments, and coordinating daily dispatch operations to ensure efficient service delivery. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls, emails, and service requests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule and dispatch technicians for Plumbing/Excavation/HVAC jobs.
- Communicate job details, updates, and changes to field staff.
- Maintain accurate customer records, job notes, and scheduling information.
- Prioritize and coordinate emergency service calls.
- Provide customers with basic service information, pricing, and timelines.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any concerns.
- Assist with general office duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or dispatch experience preferred, not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle high call volumes.
- Proficiency in computer systems and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of plumbing or excavation industry is a plus, but not required.
- Adobe, Microsoft word, and Microsoft excel experience.
- Knowledge of Quickbooks is a plus, but not required.
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
