What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Technician/Mechanic position at Steve's Diesel Shop?
We're looking to add another Diesel Technician to our team!
We're looking for someone with 1-2 years of automotive experience. Experience with light-duty diesel trucks is preferred, but not required - we're willing to teach the right person if you're willing to learn!
What we work on:
- Light-duty diesel pickup trucks - Powerstroke, Duramax, & Cummins
- Basic maintenance and repairs
- Turbo, Injector & pump replacements
- Electrical diagnosis
- Complete engine repairs
- And plenty of projects in between!
This is a fast-paced work environment where new projects and problems come through the door every day. You'll rarely find yourself doing the same job over and over.

Job Requirements:
- Must provide your own basic everyday tools - specialty tools are supplied
- Valid drivers license
- Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs
Pay: $20 - $40 / HR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
There will be a 30 - 60 day probationary period to evaluate your skill set and make sure you're being compensated appropriately to your experience and abilites.
