Duties

- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate transactions, cash handling, and sales processing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product selections, answering questions, and upselling items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the deli area, including food handling, bussing tables, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
- Manage inventory levels by restocking deli products efficiently while monitoring expiration dates.
- Ensure quick service by managing time effectively during busy hours while maintaining high-quality food preparation.
- Support food safety protocols by following proper sanitation procedures and handling food according to industry standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in sales transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience working in retail or grocery store settings is advantageous.

- Basic math skills for cash register operations and inventory management are essential.
