What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estimator - Collision Center - NEW LOCATION position at Steve's Auto Body, Inc.?
Steve's Auto Body is a lean collision center currently looking for a repair plan consultant to handle front end estimating and customers at our brand new location.
Job Duties:
1. Inspect vehicles and complete a detailedblueprint for fixing the vehicle
2. Include all necessary operations to properly fixvehicle.
3. Effectively communicate to customers what is tobe done to their vehicle to properly repair it.
4. Update customers on a regular basis to informthem of where their vehicle is in the repair process.
5. Document file in CCC notes with updates on thefile.
6. Effectively negotiate with insurance companies.
7. Make sure estimates are being written wellenough and we are charging for proper procedures to ensure we are profiting offof every job
8. Manage supplements with insurance companies
9. Review files before delivery so every file isready to close.
a. This includes making sure every part is posted,labor is accounted for, and final supplements are sent up to insurance companyas soon as the vehicle is ready for delivery
10. Meetsales goals and closing ratio goals detailed by management
11. Pre map vehicles for production
12. Update map on vehicles for production
13. Verify status of payments.
14. Correct files in CCC when final bill does notmatch insurance payout.
15. Review all initial and supplemental estimatesthat insurance adjusters write before they leave.
16. Various other duties as required.
