In this role, you will provide exceptional service by assisting customers with their rental needs, parts search, ATV/UTV instruction and more all while ensuring a fun, safe and enjoyable experience here at the Oregon Dunes. General Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on Off-Road rentals, parts, products and accessories
- POS (Point of Sale) transactions, including cash handling and end of day procedures
- Promote upselling opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales volume
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience
ATV Instructor Responsibilities
- ATV rentals safety check
- Instructing Customers of operations of ATVs & UTVs
- Check in rentals upon return
- Processing ATVs/End of Day
- All employees are required to be available on weekends and all major holidays
Experience
- Prior retail sales or customer service experience preferred, especially within a rental/off-road or similar environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math
- Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos enhances your ability to succeed in this role
- Ability to maintain professional phone etiquette while managing multiple customer interactions
- Knowledge of retail environments is advantageous but not required
- Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift
- Regularly lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
- Exposure to variable temperatures/weather (indoor, outdoor, windy, dusty, raining)
- Work with cleaning solvents, chemicals and gasoline
- Must be able to safely ride and operate ATV's and UTV's in an off-road environment.
