Responsibilities
- Perform tire replacements, rotations, balancing, and repairs efficiently and safely
- Conduct oil changes and automotive fluid replacements following manufacturer specifications
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including brake inspections, battery checks, and light mechanical repairs
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments
- Conduct wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Skills
- Previous dealership or automotive service technician experience preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and light trucks
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and procedures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive maintenance equipment
- Ability to lift heavy tires and vehicle components safely during service procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Knowledge of automotive fluid replacement, tire service, and basic mechanical repair techniques
- Experience with wheel alignment processes and minor mechanical repairs is a plus
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while working efficiently in a team environment
