Steve Boyd, PC, is a personal injury law firm dedicated to advocating for survivors of catastrophic accidents and child sexual abuse. Our experienced team recently secured a 9-figure settlement against the Diocese of Rochester and we're working on another one in the Diocese of Buffalo.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Litigation Paralegal located in Buffalo, NY. The Senior Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for preparing legal documents, reviewing case files, conducting legal research, and drafting pleadings and motions. The paralegal will work closely with attorneys and other team members to support all aspects of litigation and case management.
Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years personal injury litigation experience
- Legal Document Preparation and Document Review skills
- Experience in conducting Legal Research
- Proficiency in drafting Pleadings and Motions
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in personal injury or child sexual abuse litigation is a plus
- Paralegal certification or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in legal software and MS Office applications
