Schedule:
10:00am - 6:30pm, M-F, rotational weekends and holidays, weekly schedule is tentative and subject to changes based on production and staffing needs.

Job Duties:
1. Responsible for performance of chemical pH’s, and recognition of product degradation in finished products and sample plans. Assures that records, logs, and data are in compliance with associated regulatory and company requirements.
2. Prepares agar media, agar controls, plating controls and addition of reagents to agar media. Assures that records, logs and data are in compliance with associated regulatory and company requirements.
3. Properly operates testing equipment as outlined per company and manufacturer procedures.
4. Effectively communicates out of specification results of testing, evaluation, or observation to appropriate company personnel to generate reaction to out of compliance conditions and prevent or minimize losses.
5. Locates retention and warehouse products when required for additional testing review by laboratory and /or clients.
6. Assists in maintaining refrigerated and finished product retention areas.
7. Keeps shelf-life samples current and works with Laboratory Supervisor in product evaluation and sensory.
8. Assists shipping clerk with packaging and documentation for domestic and international shipments by various mailing methods.
9. Responsible for task completion in performance excellence program.
10. Performs tasks in compliance with all company standards including those for safety and efficiency.
11. Maintains all work areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
12. Performs any other duties as assigned or required.
Pay Range: $20.30 - $21.30
