Aquatics Instructor

```Overview```

We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced Swim Instructors to join our team. Our Private Swim Instructors are responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels. This role focuses on developing swimming proficiency, building confidence in the water, and promoting essential water safety skills.

The ideal candidate is passionate about swimming, committed to safety, and enjoys working with both children and adults in a positive, supportive learning environment.

```Duties```

- Conduct swim lessons in accordance with our curriculum and guidelines

- Provide instruction on proper swimming techniques and water safety

- Create a safe and supportive environment for students during lessons

- Assess students' abilities and adjust lesson plans accordingly

- Monitor and ensure the safety of all swimmers in the pool area

- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress

```Experience```

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Previous experience as a sports coach or instructor, preferably in swimming or related activities 2 year (perferred), 1 year (required)

- Lifeguard certification is a plus, but not required

- Passion for teaching & working with children and LOVE being in the water

- Ability to educate and engage students of all ages

- Fantastic customer service, detail oriented, able to work independently, self-motivated and confident

- Experience working with children with different learning abilities

- First Aid/CPR certified

- Min of 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED

-Must possess a valid, current driver’s license and a reliable vehicle, with the ability to travel to assigned client locations.

Availability:

Various shifts are available seven days per week. We are seeking individuals with availability in the afternoons, evenings, and some mornings. Typical operating hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Applicants should be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week on a consistent, ongoing schedule based on their stated availability.

Commitment:
-Must be available from May - August. Training begins in April.
