What You'll Do
- Restore Independence: Implement individualized treatment plans to improve residents' motor skills, daily living activities, and functional abilities.
- Educate & Support: Guide and train patients, families, and caregivers on exercises, adaptive techniques, and progress.
- Evaluate & Document: Assist with ongoing assessments and maintain accurate, timely documentation of each resident's progress.
- Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, effective care.
- Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state.
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to advocate for your patients.
- Flexible Schedule: This is an "as needed" (PRN) position. While hours aren't guaranteed, it's a great way to balance your schedule.
