Logistics Associate

We currently have a full-time opening for a Logistics Associate to support our inbound and outbound brokerage operations. Join a growing logistics operation where your work makes a real impact every day.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Maintain and champion our service commitment to our customers (100% on time in full).
• Answer all cold calls from brokers into the organization.
• Identify and vet prospective carriers to build a pipeline of service providers.
• Perform freight services according to company and government regulations.
• Plan and coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules.
• Work with Shippers, Carriers, and Dispatchers to manage their schedules.
• Track and report shipment status to customers.
• Maintain accurate carrier files (contracts and insurance).
• Resolve freight discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Maintain positive and productive relationships with customers.
• Work closely with MLS, Procurement, Shipping & Receiving to meet internal customer expectations.
• Create necessary Rate Confirmations and Bills of Lading.
• Ensure freight paperwork is completed and approved before transporting.
• Monitor shipment progress to ensure timely and undamaged delivery.
• Pay MLB customers for transportation services in a timely manner.
• Handle all Accounts Payable functions for the company.
• Constantly drive prices down while maintaining 100% on time in full.
• Stay organized and create new SOPs when needed.
• Grow the MLB book of business.
• Availability mornings, evenings, and weekends to address issues.
• Invoicing of all inbound and outbound shipments.
• Post, track, and disburse inbound and outbound loads.
• Maintain accurate tracking of all MLB loads.
• Perform accurate and timely data entry for all brokerage activities.
• Provide backup support in related areas as needed.
• Other Masser Logistics duties as needed
