Job Overview
Associates will be responsible for producing fiber optic cable in a safe, high quality, and efficient manner. Associates must follow the process flow chart to ensure quality throughout the process to avoid rework. Associates should notify the Production Supervisor of all safety/quality concerns in a timely manner.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Machine wise production planning
- Proper utilization of right material in right design
- Trouble shooting
- Scrap control and FTR (First Time Right) improvement
- Plan vs actual for the stage
- OTD (On Time Delivery)
- WIP (Work in Progress) control for the stage
- Performing other tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma
- 3 years of manufacturing or technical college
- Optical Fiber Knowledge is a plus
- Ribboning Process Experience is a plus
- Plastic Processing is a plus
- Knowledge of SAP & MS Office is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to stand, bend, squat, walk for extended periods of time

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
