What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Assistant position at SterlingRisk?
This is a full-time, non-exempt, hybrid role located in our Woodbury, NY corporate office. As a Human Resources Assistant, you will support day-to-day HR functions, including maintaining HRIS systems, assisting with benefits administration, recruitment, scheduling and onboarding/offboarding. You will also support HR management in various tasks and provide general administrative support.
Qualifications
- Two to three years' experience working in Human Resources in an administrative capacity or three to five years Administrative Assistant or Executive Assistant experience
- Proficient in Word, Outlook and scheduling within Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with Word, and Excel and other relevant software for data entry and report generation.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now or other ADP platforms a plus
- Strong organizational and communication abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Associate degree or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $48,500 – $55,000 annually, plus benefits.
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty and training. The hiring range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
