GI/Endoscopy Technician
Location: Seattle, WA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Position Type: Travel Contract
Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40 Hours
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy Technician to support a busy endoscopy department in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have prior GI procedural experience and a strong understanding of endoscopy equipment, patient preparation, and procedural support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during GI and endoscopy procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopy equipment according to facility protocols
- Assist with patient preparation and transportation as needed
- Monitor and stock procedural supplies
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards
- Support efficient workflow within the endoscopy department
- Maintain accurate documentation and equipment records
Required Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of GI/Endoscopy Technician experience required
- Knowledge of endoscopy equipment and reprocessing procedures
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Team-oriented with a commitment to patient care and safety
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- GI/Endoscopy Technician training or related healthcare experience preferred
