Role Overview
We’re looking for a skilled Infusion RN to join our cozy outpatient oncology center in Burien. You’ll be providing expert chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions, caring for patients with breast, lung, and other cancers. You’ll work closely with a tight-knit team, including one charge nurse and one medical assistant, ensuring that each patient gets the safest, most personalized care.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy infusions safely and accurately.
- Monitor patient responses and titrate drips as needed (rare, but your expertise counts).
- Provide compassionate patient education and emotional support.
- Document care and maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the team to manage patient flow and ensure high-quality care.
- Float to sister facilities as needed (flexibility is appreciated).
Qualifications & Education
- Active RN license in Washington State.
- Minimum 1–2 years of chemotherapy infusion experience.
- OCN certification preferred, but not required.
- Comfortable with infusion pumps and basic oncology pharmacology.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to titrate chemo medications safely.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Team player with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
