Position Overview
As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will provide skilled therapy services to adult and geriatric patients in a home health setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT).
We have immediate patient needs throughout Houston and surrounding communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services in patients’ homes
- Follow and implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with mobility, strengthening, balance, gait training, and functional improvement
- Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising therapist
- Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky/Kinnser EMR
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety techniques
Requirements
- Active Texas PTA License
- Current CPR Certification
- Home Health experience preferred
- WellSky/Kinnser EMR experience is a plus
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance
