- **Process monitoring:** record polymerization temps/conditions, monitor/respond to alarms, chiller conditions, throughput rates, fluid bed dryer temps/pressures, cyclone levels, fan speeds, downtime, etc.
- **Control room operation:** communicate with both line 1 & 2 control room operators; batch preparation, polymerization reactors, process improvement; gel size reduction section, fluid bed dryer, roll mills, vibrating sieves & Mekar; nitrogen flow, initiator flow rate, lube flow rate.
- **Outside operations:** batch preparation, pH adjustments, initiator preparation, reactor tipping, changing nitrogen spargers; lube preparation, change lube tips, rake dryer bed, in process sample taking, check transitions/cyclones, check particle size, check roll mills, check vibrating screens, check PEG feeder.
- **Maintenance:** minor maintenance, preventive and predictive maintenance, Troubleshooting, Write maintenance notifications.
- **Training:** Complete all Company training, Assist in on-the-job training.
- **Receiving/Put-Away**: Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the material in the appropriate areas.
- **Quality**: Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances. Ensure all paperwork is correct and accurate.
- **Order Picking**: Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact batch number, product, and quantity is loaded and shipped. Perform duties in an efficient manner that meets customer service standards.
- **Loading:** Efficiently move products from shipping area and/or storage areas onto trucks.
- **Equipment**: Load, unload, move, and stack product and materials using a forklift, or other power equipment. Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- **Inventory**: Assist in monthly Stock-counts.
- **Safety / Housekeeping:** Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards. Assist in RCA, BBS and all other teams asked to be a part in.
- Computer literate -- Email, Word, Excel, etc.
- **Completion of the Work Key's test---Silver or above**
- Requires a High School Diploma /GED or equivalent experience.
- The forklift operator requires satisfactory completion of a forklift training program.
- Drug Screen, Physical Exam and Background Check required.
- Respirator training required. **Clean Shave Policy**
- An understanding and awareness of chemicals and their nature, hazards, safety, and health issues etc. (MSDS's, use of PPE etc.)

- Must have good interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment and effectively convey pertinent written and verbal information.
- Candidates must have excellent communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders/stairs, be able to lift 70 lbs. or more, work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and work in inclement weather.
- A working knowledge of the mechanics and operation of different types of process equipment (e.g. pumps, valves, agitators, instrumentation, and controls etc.).
- Must be able to ap ly mechanical fundamentals to properly operate, maintain, and improve the performance of the equipment within their area of responsibility.
