Temporary Project Coordinator (Variable Hours) — Maternity Leave Coverage

Approximately 4—5 months (anticipated late-November through early-April), or until the regular employee returns from leave, whichever occurs first.
About the Role
SRG is seeking a Temporary Project Coordinator to support our team during a maternity leave coverage period. This is a variable-hour, part-time role ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple priorities, coordinating research and project workflows, and collaborating across teams in a creative, fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively. As a bonus, we’re especially interested in a candidate with qualitative research experience; someone who can assist in writing discussion guides and potentially conduct moderations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate timelines, tasks, and deliverables for assigned projects
- Assist with meeting scheduling, logistics, and documentation
- Support cross-functional communication between research, strategy, and client teams
- Track project milestones, deliverables, and budgets
- Prepare and update project materials (status reports, trackers, and presentations)
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- (Bonus) Draft qualitative discussion guides and assist with moderation or note-taking, if qualified
Qualifications
- 2 years of professional experience in project coordination, account management, or operations; experience in research or marketing environments preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable working onsite and available for in-person meetings as needed
- (Bonus) Experience conducting qualitative research (writing guides, moderating, or analyzing interviews)
Schedule & Compensation
- Work Hours: Variable hours averaging fewer than 25 hours per week. Occasional flex-up weeks may occur depending on project demands.
- Compensation: $25/hour, commensurate with experience
- Classification: Temporary, non-exempt, hourly (W-2)
Employment Terms
- This is a temporary W-2 position. Taxes will be withheld in accordance with state and federal law.
- The position is not benefits-eligible; however, the employee will accrue paid sick leave as required by the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA) (1 hour per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours per year).
- Participation in the Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) program is required via payroll deductions.
- The position is at-will and employment will end upon the return of the regular employee or completion of the assignment.
Work Environment
- This role requires in-person availability at our Boulder office for team collaboration, meetings, and on-site coordination.
- Some remote work flexibility may be available based on project needs, but the position cannot be fully remote.
