Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Director to lead our facilities and industrial maintenance operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities across manufacturing sites or large facilities. Your leadership will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all maintenance teams, including supervising technicians and specialists in electrical, mechanical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and industrial systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to maximize equipment uptime.
- Oversee the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of complex machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Manage facilities management activities including HVAC systems, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, fire safety equipment, and building infrastructure.
- Coordinate projects related to equipment upgrades, system installations, or facility improvements with internal teams or external contractors while ensuring safety standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical work (including high and low voltage), industrial standards, and environmental policies.
- Monitor maintenance budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Foster a culture of safety awareness, operational excellence, and teamwork through leadership development and training initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven management experience leading maintenance teams within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Extensive knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), and mechanical systems.
- Hands-on experience with CMMS platforms for work order management and asset tracking.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, facilities management practices, and industrial maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to read technical schematics and use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English with clear communication skills for team leadership and cross-department collaboration.
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety compliance and operational efficiency.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes along with electrical experience involving low voltage systems; familiarity with high voltage is a plus.
