Pharma Operator - Day & Night Shifts Available

Night Shift Offering: $2,000 Sign-On Bonus | $6/Hour Night Shift Premium

Work Only 14 Days Each Month – Days or Nights!

About The Role

Looking for a hands-on career in pharmaceutical manufacturing with built-in time off and opportunities to grow? As a Pharma Operator, you'll play an important role in the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) used in medicines.

You'll work with specialized manufacturing equipment, automated control systems, and chemical processes in a highly regulated production environment. Whether you bring experience in chemistry, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, production operations, or another related technical field, this is an opportunity to build valuable skills and develop your career within the pharmaceutical industry.

We have opportunities available on both day and night shifts, working a 2-2-3 rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts. This means you'll work approximately 14 days each month, enjoy every other weekend off, and have extended stretches of time away from work.

Night shift employees receive an additional $6 per hour shift premium.

What You'll Do

As a Pharma Operator, you will:

  • Safely operate pharmaceutical process equipment and supporting utility systems.
  • Monitor and control manufacturing processes using Allen-Bradley and PLC control systems.
  • Operate reactor systems and associated equipment, including storage tanks, waste tanks, heating and cooling units, vacuum systems, and scrubbers.
  • Perform chemical processes ranging from gram to multi-kilogram scale.
  • Monitor process conditions, recognize alarms, and respond appropriately to operational or emergency situations.
  • Perform routine analytical testing and interpret data to help monitor reaction progress and product quality.
  • Support the isolation and purification of pharmaceutical products and intermediates using established techniques.
  • Prepare production areas for new cGMP manufacturing projects and product changeovers.
  • Monitor project progress, including timelines, raw materials, equipment availability, and yields.
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment or process issues and initiate maintenance requests when needed.
  • Accurately document manufacturing activities, inventory usage, results, and procedures in accordance with cGMP and Good Documentation Practices.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts that strengthen safety, quality, reliability, and operational performance.
  • Demonstrate our company values every day: Be Caring. Be Transparent. Be Willing. Be Reliable.

What We're Looking For

We welcome candidates from a variety of technical and manufacturing backgrounds. You may be a good fit if you have:

  • A bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related scientific or technical field; or
  • A high school diploma or equivalent with 3 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, production operations, or a related environment.
  • An interest in hands-on manufacturing and working with specialized process equipment.
  • The ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate documentation in a regulated environment.
  • Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Candidates with more extensive relevant experience may be considered for a more senior-level opportunity based on their qualifications.

Shift Options

We offer both day and night shift opportunities on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule:

  • Day Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
  • Night Shift: 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with an additional $6 per hour shift premium

With this schedule, you'll work approximately 14 days per month, have every other weekend off, and enjoy extended stretches of time for family, travel, hobbies, or simply recharging.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes:

  • Competitive compensation, including substantial shift premiums
  • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Bonus program
  • 401(k) match
