Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine oral health needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery.
- Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision and care.
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment for patients.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and aseptic techniques.
Skills
- Proficient in using dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for patient management.
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical terminology.
