HR Assistant (Recruiting & Onboarding)
Position Summary
The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department by assisting with recruiting, hiring, and new-hire onboarding processes. This role helps ensure a smooth, timely, and compliant experience for candidates and new employees, while providing administrative support to the HR team.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Recruiting Support

Assist with posting open positions to job boards and internal platforms

Review applications and route candidates to appropriate hiring managers

Schedule phone screens, interviews, and follow-up communications

Communicate with candidates regarding next steps, interview logistics, and hiring status

Maintain applicant tracking records and ensure timely updates
Onboarding & Orientations

Coordinate and schedule new-hire orientations

Prepare and distribute onboarding paperwork and new-hire packets

Ensure completion of required pre-employment and onboarding documentation

Assist with I-9 processing and new-hire compliance requirements

Support new employees during their first days and answer basic HR questions
HR Administrative Support

Maintain accurate employee and applicant records in the HRIS

Assist with data entry, document tracking, and filing

Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned
