Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and dependable Move team members to join our dynamic moving and logistics crew. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packing, loading, and unloading items, ensuring safe transportation and delivery for our customers. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a smooth moving experience, providing excellent customer service from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload household items using proper lifting techniques and equipment, such as dollies, when necessary
- Pack items securely for transport, ensuring protection against damage during transit
- Assist with the organization and inventory of items in the warehouse or storage areas
- Operate various vehicles, including box trucks and
drivers’ vehicles with manual transmissions for route driving and deliveries - Load and unload trucks efficiently, maintaining accurate documentation of all items handled
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients during pickup and delivery processes
- Follow safety protocols at all times, including heavy lifting procedures, proper use of equipment like forklifts, and adherence to traffic laws during route driving
Qualifications
- Prior warehouse experience or moving experience preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or courier experience is a plus
- Experience operating box trucks or other moving equipment is desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively throughout the shift
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members
- Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles and navigating route driving scenarios
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, carry, and move items for extended periods
