We are looking for an Assistant Controller to join the Sterling Healthcare Management Team!
We are growing healthcare management company operating multiple skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. We’re seeking an Assistant Controller to join our Chicago-based finance team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment and is ready to own processes end-to-end.
You will work directly alongside our finance leadership team, collaborating daily with colleagues in the U.S., Israel, and India. We need someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and a true self-starter - the kind of person who identifies what needs to get done and makes it happen without waiting for instruction. Long-term care, nursing home, or healthcare accounting experience is required.

f. Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries and issue resolution.
Treasury & Cash Management
Process Management & Collaboration

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
5. Able to work in team environment.
6. Advanced Excel skills including Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP required.
8. Point Click Care (PCC) software experience strongly preferred.
10. Highly proficient in cash flow management, modeling, and projections.
11. Familiar with asset-based lending Borrowing base calculations.
