Position: Sr. Process Engineer / Project Engineer (Process)
Location: Waukegan, IL 60087 onsite
Duration: 24 Months
Pay Rate $65.00 - $90.00 per hour
I am looking for a Senior Process Engineer with 10 years of U.S. experience to join my Sterling Engineering team. This is a hands-on role supporting API / drug substance process equipment from design and specification through procurement, installation, commissioning, and startup.
Qualifications Required
- 10 years of Process Engineering / Project Engineering experience with Reactors, vessels, tanks, mixers, pumps, filtration, and heat exchangers
- Experience with PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, datasheets, and URS documents
- Conduct Vendor design reviews and FAT/SAT
- Equipment installation, field support, commissioning, and startup
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, API, drug substance, or specialty chemical manufacturing
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline required.
