We are partnering with an innovative custom automation manufacturer that designs and builds cutting-edge assembly and manufacturing systems for leading pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded sales professional who enjoys uncovering customer challenges, developing customized automation solutions, and driving projects from concept through execution.
What You'll Do:
- Develop new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical, medical device, and advanced manufacturing markets.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with existing customers while identifying and pursuing new accounts.
- Meet with customers to understand manufacturing challenges and define automation solutions.
- Evaluate project opportunities to determine technical and commercial fit.
- Develop project budgets, proposals, and customer presentations.
- Interpret User Requirement Specifications (URS) and translate customer needs into automation concepts.
- Collaborate with engineering and project management teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage customer scope changes, engineering change requests, and commercial discussions after project award.
- Represent the company at customer meetings, presentations, and industry events.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience selling or supporting custom automation, capital equipment, or engineered manufacturing solutions.
- Background working with pharmaceutical, medical device, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Understanding of automated assembly processes including robotics, palletizing, dial and inline indexing systems, and cam-driven automation.
- Experience developing proposals, budgets, and technical presentations.
- Strong customer-facing communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to identify opportunities, qualify projects, and close business.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
