Role Overview:
- Lead the Electrical Interference Effects team within the Consulting group.
- Solve complex technical challenges and help expand service offerings across North America.
- Opportunity to work in both Electrical and Oil & Gas sectors with potential for career growth.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
- Deliver studies on electrical interferences across critical infrastructure (pipelines, railroads, substations, transmission systems).
- Oversee modeling and analysis for AC/DC interference, EMI/EMF, and grounding systems.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
- Influence consulting service direction and represent the company at industry conferences and strategic business development efforts.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience leading interference studies for pipelines, electrical powerlines and substations, HVDC systems, railways, and related infrastructure.
- Proficiency with SES CDEGS software suite, specifically Hi-Freq and/or ROW modules.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for managing cross-functional teams and client relationships.
- Field experience with soil resistivity testing, fall-of-potential measurements, and electrical grounding assessments.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations: IEEE Std 80, 81, 2746; NACE/AMPP; CSA OCC-1-2013; PHMSA 49 CFR 192 and 195.
- SES Level 1 or NACE CP certification.
- Professional licensure as a P.E.
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
