We're partnering with a well-established manufacturer of industrial heating and temperature sensing products to hire an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for leading production teams, driving safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
We're looking for a hands-on manufacturing leader with experience managing production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of improving operational efficiency, developing employees, and achieving production goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives.
- Manage production schedules and staffing to ensure customer demands are met.
- Supervise, coach, and develop production supervisors, team leads, and hourly employees.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and eliminate waste.
- Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and quality standards.
- Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve production issues and improve operations.
- Support hiring, training, performance management, and employee development.
- Track production metrics and implement action plans to improve KPIs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Production Manager, Manufacturing Manager, Production Supervisor, or Operations Manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
- Strong knowledge of production scheduling, workforce management, and manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrated success improving productivity, reducing waste, and meeting production goals.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologies is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but equivalent manufacturing leadership experience will also be considered.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
