Maintenance Technician - 1st shift

Title: Facility Maintenance Technician

Location: Franklin, WI

Hire Type: Direct Hire

Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Mon-Fri) OT as needed

Compensation: $25-$30/hr

Overview:

We’re seeking a hands-on Facility Maintenance Technician to support daily operations by maintaining and repairing critical building systems. This role focuses on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and being a key resource on-site.

Job Duties:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems
• Troubleshoot facility and basic production equipment issues
• Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
• Assist with equipment installation and facility upgrades
• Use hand and power tools to complete repairs safely and efficiently
• Maintain work orders, parts, and documentation in CMMS/ERP systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of facility maintenance or related experience
• Strong experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to read schematics and perform hands-on troubleshooting
• Basic computer skills (CMMS, Microsoft Office)
• Strong communication and ability to work independently
• Valid driver’s license

• HVAC certification and/or refrigeration certification
• NFPA 70E training
