About The Opportunity

Our client is seeking motivated Field Technicians to support electric utility projects by collecting detailed field data on utility poles and telecommunication facilities. This is a 100% field-based position requiring candidates who enjoy working outdoors and are comfortable walking long distances in varying weather conditions. Training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals with utility experience looking to grow their careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect field data including attachment heights, span distances, pole angles, and other utility measurements.
• Record and submit organized field notes, maps, digital images, and project documentation.
• Operate and maintain field equipment including tablets, digital cameras, measuring tools, and PPE.
• Perform field inspections of utility and telecommunication facilities.
• Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and the public.
• Communicate daily with project managers and field supervisors.
• Work safely and independently while maintaining accurate project data.
• Perform extensive walking and outdoor work in all weather conditions.
  
  

Qualifications / Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical utilities.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Reliable personal transportation.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including frequent walking and lifting 15-20 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic computer skills
• Experience using tablets or other mobile field devices is preferred
  
  

Schedule

• 100% field-based outdoor position
• Extensive walking required while collecting utility field data
