We are seeking a Controls Engineer to join a highly skilled Automation Development team responsible for designing, building, and implementing advanced robotic and automated manufacturing systems. What You’ll Do

• Own controls projects from initial concept through equipment installation and startup
• Develop and program automation solutions using PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion control, and machine vision
• Design and troubleshoot electrical systems, safety circuits, I/O, and industrial networks
• Review electrical schematics and support controls hardware architecture
• Debug and optimize equipment performance through testing and validation
• Collaborate with engineering and assembly teams to deliver successful automation projects
• Support equipment installation at manufacturing sites

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2 years of experience with custom automation or industrial controls
• PLC programming experience (Siemens preferred; Rockwell Automation a plus)
• HMI/SCADA experience (WinCC or Ignition preferred)
• Experience with sensors, servos, VFDs, industrial networking, machine vision, or robotics
• Familiarity with robotic systems (FANUC or KUKA experience a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting skills and a hands-on approach to solving technical challenges
