Target Salary: $65,000-70,000
Bonus/ Incentives/ Stock Options: up to 15% annual bonus
Job Summary: Responsible for procuring indirect materials, equipment, and services that support operations across multiple facilities. This role manages purchasing activities for non-production items, shipping and packaging materials, and aftermarket service tools while ensuring cost-effective sourcing and supplier performance.
Job Duties:
- Source and purchase indirect goods and services for multiple locations, including packaging materials and aftermarket service tools
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements to achieve cost savings and support business objectives
- Generate and manage purchase orders for products, services, and planned packaging requirements
- Partner with internal teams during the implementation of Coupa and serve as a key system resource and certified administrator
- Evaluate and onboard new suppliers, ensuring all required approvals, authorizations, and safety requirements are met
- Coordinate with facilities teams regarding vendor access, deliveries, and hazardous material considerations
- Manage lease agreements for mobile equipment across several company locations
- Analyze purchasing activity and prepare monthly spend reports and related metrics
- Maintain strong supplier relationships while identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, Sales, or a related field
- 3–5 years of purchasing, procurement, or sourcing experience
- Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated history of achieving cost savings
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
- Experience using SAP, LN, or similar ERP systems
- Knowledge of shop supplies, operational equipment, and indirect procurement practices
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
