Position Type: Full-Time Direct Hire

Salary: $100,000 - 135,000 per year

Schedule: Hybrid with one day remote of your choosing (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday)

You’ll serve as a technical resource for both internal teams and customers, helping determine the right products and configurations for industrial applications. The position combines engineering, application design, technical problem-solving, customer support, sales support, and product development, giving you the opportunity to work on projects from initial application requirements through product selection, modification, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and application support to internal teams, customers, and sales personnel.
• Assist customers with the proper selection, configuration, application, use, and maintenance of gearmotors and power transmission products.
• Analyze customer requirements and determine appropriate product solutions for specific applications.
• Review, design, and calculate complex applications and product modifications.
• Support projects focused on improving product performance, reliability, and application effectiveness.
• Develop technical documentation and product specifications for use by customers, customer service, and sales teams.
• Ensure products are properly selected, manufactured, assembled, and modified to meet specific application requirements.
• Develop technical training materials covering products, applications, and relevant industry topics.
• Partner with sales team members on customer presentations, technical discussions, application reviews, and training.
• Travel with sales personnel to provide engineering expertise during customer meetings and technical presentations.
• Participate in field sales and service calls as required.
• Communicate technical recommendations and engineering concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work collaboratively with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot application challenges and identify effective solutions.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 7 years of engineering experience with electromechanical products.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or the ability to quickly learn the software.
• Strong mechanical and electromechanical aptitude.
• Ability to understand complex technical applications and translate customer requirements into practical engineering solutions.
• Comfortable working directly with customers in a professional and consultative manner.
• Must be able to travel 10-15%
