We’re partnering with a well-established manufacturer that’s looking to bring on an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support process development, operational efficiency, and technology-driven improvements across key production areas. This role sits within the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group and plays a critical part in shaping how products move from concept to full-scale production. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in structured, hands-on engineering environments, understands how to break down complex processes, and can execute improvement initiatives with clarity, discipline, and measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead structured design and improvement activities such as 3P workshops, process reviews, and value stream updates to enhance flow, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Support new product introduction efforts by evaluating manufacturability, defining process requirements, and coordinating cross-functional readiness from prototype through launch.
- Develop and maintain standardized documentation, including process summaries, workflow visuals, and control plans for assigned manufacturing areas.
- Partner with engineering, operations, and quality teams to identify inefficiencies and drive corrective actions using formal problem-solving methods (FMEA, root cause analysis, etc.).
- Manage technical projects that involve equipment enhancements, new process development, or production optimization—ensuring schedules, budgets, and deliverables stay on track.
- Recommend and champion new manufacturing technologies, tools, or methods that improve throughput, reliability, or cost performance.
- Review engineering outputs to validate accuracy, compliance with standards, and alignment with continuous improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
- 8 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience
- Strong analytical skills with comfort using data and engineering software tools
- Hands-on experience facilitating process improvements or leading technical initiatives
- Demonstrated success supporting production for new product launches or major operational upgrades
- Ability to oversee projects from concept through execution with strong ownership and follow-through
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in project leadership or engineering project management
- Certifications such as Six Sigma, Red X, Lean, or similar problem-solving credentials
- Lean manufacturing training or demonstrated CI experience
- Experience collaborating across all levels of a manufacturing organization
