Overview:
We are seeking entry-level Mechanical/Sub-Assembly Technicians to join a manufacturing team in Ohio. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in mechanical assembly and machine manufacturing.
In this role, you will support the teardown of machinery and mechanical sub-assembly work, following instructions and working closely with experienced team members.
Job Duties:
- Assist with tearing down and disassembling machines
- Perform mechanical sub-assembly and assembly tasks
- Use basic hand and power tools
- Follow work instructions, drawings, and established procedures
- Organize and handle mechanical components and parts
- Support experienced assemblers and technicians as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Perform basic quality checks on completed work
Qualifications:
- Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous mechanical, assembly, manufacturing, automotive, construction, or hands-on experience is a plus, but not required
- Comfortable working with hand and power tools
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift and handle mechanical components as required
