We are seeking motivated Engineering Technicians to support engineering and manufacturing operations within a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on manufacturing floor role focused on supporting production processes, troubleshooting equipment and assemblies, assisting with testing and validation activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates will have strong technical troubleshooting abilities, manufacturing experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams.
Job Duties:
· Support engineering and manufacturing teams with day-to-day production and technical activities.
· Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment, electronic assemblies, and process-related issues.
· Assist with prototype builds, engineering validations, and new product introductions (NPI).
· Perform equipment setup, calibration, preventive maintenance, and process support activities.
· Support testing, debugging, and failure analysis of electronic assemblies and production systems.
· Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, BOMs, work instructions, and technical documentation.
· Collect and analyze production and process data to support engineering initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
· Assist engineers with root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
· Operate and support electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
· Work closely with production operators, quality teams, and engineers to improve manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
· Support process improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, yield, and productivity.
· Maintain accurate documentation, procedures, and equipment records according to company standards.
· Train operators or other technicians on equipment, processes, and procedures when required.
· Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and manufacturing standards.
Qualifications:
· 2 years of relevant experience in electronics manufacturing, engineering support, testing, debugging, or technical operations preferred.
· Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
· Experience with electronic assemblies, PCB handling, testing, or troubleshooting preferred.
· Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
· Working knowledge of electronic test equipment and manufacturing processes.
· Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with excellent attention to detail.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
