Overview: The Electrical Engineer II will support company expansion in Philadelphia by contributing to impactful utility infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for design development, equipment layouts, construction drawings, and bills of materials for utility distribution projects while working closely with construction crews, clients, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely completion.
Job Duties:
- Develop design developments, equipment layouts, construction drawings, and bills of materials for new and existing utility distribution infrastructure
- Apply proficiency in power engineering theories, principles, and power distribution systems
- Research engineering and design issues, evaluate alternatives, and prepare sound recommendations
- Navigate and understand complex initiatives across multiple teams and platforms
- Apply project management, quantitative, and analytical skill sets to oversee project progress
- Multitask and adapt to changing project demands while utilizing standard engineering concepts and practices
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams, clients, and construction crews
