What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Assembler position at Sterling Engineering, Inc.?
The Electrical Assembler performs electrical assembly for high-speed, high-volume food processing machines and related peripheral equipment.
What You’ll Do
- Assemble electrical panels and sub-panels for machines and peripherals
- Build cables and wire harnesses
- Program servos, drives, sensors, and CPUs
- Test completed units to ensure proper function and quality standards
- Perform final inspections on assembled equipment
- Collaborate with Engineering on equipment improvements
- Support Service teams with troubleshooting as needed

What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3–4 years of electrical manufacturing experience
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Experience using specialized tools and measuring instruments
- Previous assembly experience (preferred)

Pay Range
$27 – $33 per hour, (Pay is based on experience, skills, location, and qualifications.)
